Javascript and Java

primotrading.com uses javascript extensively throughout this site for things such as navigation or form validation to personalize your experience. We suggest using a browser that supports version 1.2 javascript (Netscape Navigator 4.6+ and Internet Explorer 5+. We strongly recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and above).

Java is currently not being used in this site.

Navigation Menu

Many thanks to Cirkadia for our javascript tree menu, which we adapted from their iNavigate script to be dynamically created through ASP. The iNavigate Menu, is supported in two modes, Active and Passive. The fully functional mode being Active, where the menus operate dynamically (sparing a few mouseclicks here and there along the way) and Passive Mode, where the menus are fully open and static.

The iNavigate menus are switched on and Active for:

• Internet Explorer 4.0+
• Netscape 6.0+
• Mozilla 0.6+ & other Gecko-powered browsers
• Opera 7.0+
• Opera 5.12+ [Partial Active Mode, inline with browser capabilities]

On Mac, this includes:

• Internet Explorer 5.1+ on OS X
• Netscape 6.1+ on OS X
• Internet Explorer 4.5 and 5.0+ on Classic Mac
• Netscape 6.0+ on Classic Mac

Cirkadia essentially supports Passive Mode on all other browsers/versions/platforms, for example, those which are not capable like Netscape 4.x.

Passive Mode support on Mac includes:

• iCab 2.8 beta
